Some researchers believe that ghosts and other paranormal activity emit high Electromagnetic Fields (EMF). The iPhone 3GS has the ability to detect these fields with it’s digital magnometer. AR Ghost takes these magnetic field readings and composes a visual representation of the paranormal. Ghost hunters often use digital sound recorders to capture Electronic Voice Phenomenon, or EVP. These digital sound recorders can pick up sounds that you might not hear with your own ears, but can be heard upon playback later. AR Ghost uses the digital sound recording capabilities of the iPhone 3GS to provide real time playback of EVPs.
